Feb,1990 : All India Women`s Conference, Kanpur made a resolution to form a separate trust for children with cerebral palsy.
Mar,1990 : The District Council of Child Welfare provided space at BalBhawan to run the Centre.
Apr,1990 : The Centre was formally inaugurated by the U.P. Minister for Social Welfare, Shri Avdesh Prasad.
Dec,1990 : The centre was accepted as an affiliated organisation of the Spastics Society of India, Bombay.

1991
Feb,1991 : A 2-day National workshop on awareness and management of curable palsy was organised with co-operation from UNICEF and local well-wishers, and inaugurated by the Commissioner of Kanpur Division, Smt. Sumita Kandpal.
Apr,1991 : New equipment - Hand exercise table, wrist exercise two abdominal crawlers and two wall pulley fittings, acquired from Delhi.

Sep,1992 : A 3-day workshop on Early Intervention in Multiple Disability (Conducted by Mrs. S. Kaul and Miss T. Hamblin).
Nov, 1992 : Project secretary of Kinderpostzegels, Mr. N. Tetteroo visit the centre (This organization in Netherlands has provided major financial support to the Centre for two years continuously)

Jan,1993 : Two more rooms in the red cottage were added to the centre, generously given by Bal Bhawan
1993 : Making of handmade paper cards for sale began. SBI placed the first huge order.

Annual Day, 1994 : The Fourth Annual Day (30th April 1994) was celebrated by inviting Shri Kapil Dev and Shri Irshad Mirza who announced donations and promised support.
1994 : Amendment of R.C.I. Act of 1992 semminar organised by Spastic Society of Northern India, Delhi.

August, 1996 : The first outreach centre was started at Mercy Memorial School, Kidwai Nagar..
August, 1996 : A 3-day workshop on “Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Development Delays” conducted by Ellen Kravits, a speech and language pathologist from the Easter Seal Society Massachussetts..
1996 : We were invited to help in launching a Centre for Disabled in Jabalpur by the Mahila Kalyan Samiti of the Ordinance Factory..

August, 1997 : Kanpur Paints Association and Nerolac Paints organise a function at the centre..
August, 1997 : A tableau “AzadikeParvane” was presented to the centre by the vocational class at AIWC, Kanpur.

Mar, 1998 : President of Air Force Wives Welfare Association Mrs. N. Desai along with our children and teachers watched an exciting air display at Chakeri IAF Station.
May, 1998 : Dr. Sunil Taneja(trustee) arranged blood test of children and staff members.
1998 : Coca Cola presented small cricket bats autographed by Mr. Anil Kumble to the children.
August, 1998 : “Hamara Bharat” was staged by children of the centre at Merchant’s Chamber Hall.

Recognition by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as a certified centre for rehaabilitation.
The Government also allotted a plot for the centre adjacent to our present building.
August, 2001 : Construction of the new building begins on the adjacent plot.
Weaving project started.
